Winter is coming, and with him the heating season in Poland. Unfortunately, there is a drastic deterioration of air quality. This morning on the site Airly.eu I checked the state of air over Poland, as long as the entire territory of Poland is green, which is good. Thanks to the experience from previous years, I know that in November the map from green will change to red, air standards will exceed the permissible even 100 times. Last year, many homes have air purifiers, since the house is already "secured" it is worth thinking about the car now. If someone lives in a bigger city, he spends a lot of time in traffic jams, it's worth breathe in clean air. I decided to check the purifier for the Xiaomi Roidmi Car Purifier OLED, it is the second generation of the device. The original model was not equipped with an OLED display which presents the current PM 2,5 value.
Xiaomi Roidmi Car Purifier OLED [unpacking]
The purifier arrives in an elegant black box with gold trim. After opening, we can see the user's manual, and under it there is a box with a power supply for the cigarette lighter socket in the car together with the cable length 4,5m. Then there is a large-size styrofoam that effectively protects the purifier during transport to the customer. To remove from the box there is still a purifier and a special holder in which we fix the equipment.
On promotional graphics, Xiaomi suggests different ways of mounting: on the headrest of the central rear seat, on the central armrest and the option on which I will probably decide is a pull-out armrest in the back seats. I would love to place the purifier on the rear seat headrest, but now in the rearview mirror I see little through the horizontal beam on the rear window. If I added Roidmi to this, I would not see anything. Waiting until the rain stops, there will be a bit better light and I'm getting ready for assembly.
