There are several types of radiators on the Youpin platform, including Smartmi. This time, Xiaomi releases the heater under its Mijia brand. When creating a new product, they consulted with Zhimi Technology, they created a similar product, but this time you can pair with the Mi Home application.
Xiaomi presents a new radiator, this time the Mijia brand
The Mijia radiator is designed for rooms with an area not larger than 15 square meters. A five-stage temperature control is available, the choices are: 20 ° C, 22 ° C, 24 ° C, 26 ° C and 32 ° C. The heater is controlled by a thermostat which makes sure that the temperature in the room is as we set it, turns on or off the heating if necessary.
In terms of connectivity and smart home, the new radiator has Wi-Fi, and the device can be added to the Mi Home application. Thanks to this we can create scenes with other devices in the application, and even control the voice using the Xiaomi voice assistant or using Siri from Apple. An example scene? It will automatically turn off the heating when we open the window to ventilate the room, when it closes it will automatically turn on.
Xiaomi did not forget about safety, the body was covered with fireproof material. If you use portable radiators to warm the bathroom, the new Mijia product will be a good choice, thanks to IPX4 it can work in moisture.
The Mijia radiator was priced on the Chinese market at 299 yuan, $ 43 and sales will start tomorrow.
