In the second quarter of this year Xiaomi presented the flagship series of their Mi 8 smartphones. Exceptionally this year, the Chinese giant released many models, one of them is Mi 8 SE, whose brain is the Snapdragon 710 processor. You could say that Mi 8 SE is a higher middle class in the smartphone hierarchy.
In the first months of sale, the smartphone was sent to customers with the MIUI 9 overlay and Android in the 8.1 version. Already after a few weeks, Xiaomi released the update to the latest MIUI 10, but the Android version still remained the same. Currently, Xiaomi is implementing the Android 9 beta for its testers, at the beginning of the year 2019 is expected to reach all owners. When one team is working on Android 9 for Mi 8 SE, the second one has already started implementing Android Q. The smartphone was caught in the Geekbench test, just with the Android version of 10 on board.

What will Android Q bring? We know very little so far. One of the most interesting functions will be improved multitasking in split screen mode, now "both screens" will be active.
