Xiaomi Air Purifier 2 and the display version, i.e. the 2S model are probably the most popular air purifiers in Poland. Together with the Xiaomi autonomous vacuum cleaner, these two products form the core of "smart home" devices in many homes around the world.
Xiaomi decided to refresh its flagship product and presented Xiaomi Air Purifier 3. The new model is intended for rooms from 28 to 48 m3. Latest Air Purifier 3 is able to clean 400m3 per hour and this is an 29% better result than the 2S.
The dimensions of the device remained the same as in the previous model: 240 mm x 240 mm x 250 mm and weighs 4,8 kg. Inside, there is a triple filtration system that is able to trap 0,3 nanometer-sized particles. The purifier draws in "polluted" air from the sides, passes through a replaceable filter and releases clean air. The device will not only allow you to live without smog, but also will be helpful for allergy sufferers.
On the back of the device there is a PM 2,5 particle sensor, their current value is displayed on the front of the device. When the purifier is working in Auto mode and the permissible norms are exceeded, the turbo mode will be activated automatically for quick air purification. The display itself has been slightly redesigned and now it is an OLED touch panel, a similar display was used in the Max model. Xiaomi Air Purifier 3 is compatible with the Xiao AI virtual voice assistant, which unfortunately only understands Chinese.
Xiaomi Air Purifier 3 has been priced in China at 899 yuan, $ 128. Soon it should appear in stores offering shipping to Europe.
Sebastian is right and OLED touch was now available in the MAX model. Xiaomi Air Purifier Max is only sold in China, and the shipping cost to Europe imposed by sellers and shipping companies is too high. It's definitely cheaper to buy two Pro models.
