This morning at a conference in New Delhi, Xiaomi presented its new smartphone under the Poco brand, the Pocophone F1. The solemn presentation was made by Alvin Tse, the head of the Poco project. It has been around for a long time lots of rumors and spills about F1. The best term for the new smartphone is the redesigned Mi 8, the flagship Xiaomi that was presented a few months ago. Why did Xiaomi choose the Indian market? The Chinese giant is a sales leader on the local market, but only on budget telephones, the premium sector belongs to other companies, mainly OnePlus. Pocophone F1 is the answer to OnePlus 6. Xiaomi wants to break into the forefront and offers a smartphone with the same processor as such top devices like OnePlus 6, Mi 8, Mi Mix 2S but at a lower price giving up some functions.

Both models have a battery with the same 4000 mAh capacity and the Quick Charge 3.0 quick charging function. The battery is enough for 15 days in standby mode or 31 hours of talk time. In terms of photography, it is on the same level as Mi 8. There is a double camera at the back. The main lens is from the Sony IMX363 12 MP with the f / 1.4 shutter, the second from the Samsung 5 MP with the f / 2.0 shutter. The video is recorded in 4K quality in 30 frames per second.
