A few days ago, Xiaomi presented its new flagship Xiaomi Mi6, following Apple's lead the Chinese manufacturer decided to resign from the JACK 3,5mm port. Is Xiaomi Wireless Bluetooth 4.1 Music Sport Earbuds, or Xiaomi wireless headphones. Has the Chinese producer prepared his ecosystem for life without a JACK 3,5mm connector?
The headphones are simple, minimalistic as Xiaomi is in the habit. If you can call the elegant sports headphones, then in my opinion Xiaomi are just like that. They weigh only 17,8g, practically do not feel that they are founded. At the expense of low weight they are made of plastic.
Thanks to a special hook-shaped handle, the headphones are placed behind the ears and do not fall out during movements. I tested while running and exercising at the gym.
The headphones contain a charging cable in the set and a set of "elastic bands" for ears in various sizes, but maybe there is something wrong with me. Maybe I have unusual ears, but none match perfectly. In everybody feels discomfort as the earpiece slightly protrudes from the ears and I lose the feeling of being cut off from the world that occurs while listening in the channel headphones. This is terribly annoying during exercise. He still has Xiaomi Mi IV Hybrid Dual Drivers from Xiaomi and Applowskie headphones, both pairs are perfect in the ears.
Xiaomi Wireless Bluetooth 4.1 Music Sports Earbuds are IPx4-proof, waterproof, sweat-proof. Remember to close the bezel on the Micro USB port for charging. The headphones have three buttons, two are behind the louder / quieter, the third switch on and off the device. The built-in microphone allows you to talk while running.
The device uses Bluetooth 4.1, which provides coverage up to 10 meters and good sound quality, at least that's what Xiaomi provides. In my opinion it is weak, the absolute lack of bass, when I lose the feeling of being cut off from the world, the quality is very poor. The headphones mentioned above offer, in my opinion, much better sound quality. However, the Bluetooth connection works without a problem, I never had a problem that the headphones lost their connection with the phone.
The device has a small battery capacity because only 110mAh, but thanks to Bluetooth 4.1 wireless headphones from Xiaomi are able to withstand 7 days of standby or 7 hours of music playback without interruption. During tests I loaded them on average every three days, in my opinion it is a good result. On the smartphone screen, we can see how many% of the battery has remained.
If you're an athlete, you're looking for running headphones. The cord is irritating while running. Looking for cheap wireless headphones to 100 PLN and you are able to accept very average sound quality, Xiaomi Wireless Bluetooth 4.1 Music Sport Earbuds they will be suitable for you. However, if you want good sound quality, you have more funds than 100 PLN, I recommend looking around for something else. Personally, I will not use them, this is one of the few Xiaomi devices that I do not recommend. I hope that Xiaomi will present next wireless headphones in the near future.
